"This note is to express my deep appreciation and grateful thanks for the skill and dedication you showed in performing the surgery on my cranium and ear last December 11.
I was a bit apprehensive beforehand of whether I needed this at my age (84) but decided to go ahead on hearing of the possible consequences of ignoring the problem.
I have had many surgeries, including six in the cervical and lumbar spine region ranging from fusion at various levels to microdiscectomy and laminectomy, an acromioplasty on the right shoulder, and most agonizing of all: a burr hole surgery to repair a subdural hematoma that put me flat on my back in the ICU for almost a week.
In comparison, the surgery you performed was the smoothest with the least post-op complications I have experienced. There was almost no nausea in the post-anesthesia period and I was even able to walk to the restroom in the PACU with just a bit of help from a nurse a few hours after surgery while waiting for transfer to a regular room.
Thanks again for taking such good care of my condition."
